New Belfast store boxes clever
Star boxer Carl Frampton took a break from training ahead of his upcoming title fight against WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz, to officially open a brand new £600,000 Specsavers store at Victoria Square in Belfast.
The investment has been made by local store directors David Maguire, Sinead Donnelly and Neal Kerr and has additionally created six new jobs taking the total number of staff to 50.
One of the largest Specsavers stores on the island of Ireland the new and expanded store has relocated from Ann Street and extends over two floors and features eight test rooms and two dedicated hearcare rooms.
The store’s original outlet in Ann Street was the first Specsavers store to open in Northern Ireland and the team have been providing essential health services to local people since 1992.
State of the art equipment
Test rooms are fully equipped with the latest eye care technology including digital retinal cameras and Digital Precision Eyecare – a cutting edge way of selecting and fitting customers’ spectacles using imaging software on tablet devices.
The new audiology unit includes two soundproofed hearcare rooms facilitating the services of three audiologists enabling the store to offer optical and hearcare services seven days a week.
Grand opening event
