The team at Specsavers in Bedford have been fielding a great number of worried calls from customers and have been able to address and alleviate these concerns through continued access to professional optical and audiology services.
Last week, the team were able to home-deliver a set of contact lenses to a longstanding customer, who is unable to leave the house as they’ve been caring for their wife. 

Open for essential care

While Specsavers Bedford on Midland Road is closed for all routine eye and hearing tests at the moment, the team are still open and working hard to provide essential care and to support local keyworkers.

Store director is happy to help 

Matt Stewart, store director in Bedford, said: ‘We’re grateful to have had the capacity to remain open during this difficult period, and we’re proud of the help we’ve been able to provide to those in isolation.
‘We want the local community to know that, while we are closed for routine appointments at the present time, we are still very much here to support people with their essential eye and hearing care needs, and to make sure they can see and hear healthily whilst staying at home – so please give us a call if you need us.’
