Barrow store celebrates 21 years at heart of community
Festivities have been in full swing at Specsavers in Barrow-in-Furness as staff celebrate the store's 21st year of caring for the eyes and ears of the community.
Two decades caring for the community
Over the past two decades, the store has grown to become a 34-strong team which boasts a massive 352 years’ combined experience in ophthalmic and hearing care.
Since it opened its doors in 1993, the team have become renowned for their friendly customer service and unrivalled expertise, and, as a thank you to their long-standing customers, their birthday celebrations saw them launch some very special in-store offers.
Store director at Specsavers in Barrow-in-Furness, Simon LeFever, said, ‘It’s a fantastic time for the store, our staff and our loyal customers, as we celebrate the most significant milestone in our history.

During its birthday celebrations, customers visiting Specsavers in Barrow-in-Furness were treated to balloons, chocolates and the team even enjoyed a birthday night out at the races complete with disco and an extra day off this Christmas.
