Staff at Specsavers in Barrhead held a super summer raffle in support of Marie Curie, raising £88 for the charity.
Customers had the chance to win a hamper packed full of pampering goodies.
The lucky winner was Mrs Hilda McPherson who was presented with her prize at the store on Main Street by store director Gail Thompson.
Gail Thompson, director of Specsavers Barrhead, said: ‘It’s very important to us to support fantastic charities as often as we can. ‘I’d like to thank our customers for their support during our fundraising and I hope Mrs McPherson enjoys her lovely hamper.’
Marie Curie provides care and support for more than 40,000 people living with a terminal illness and their families in the UK each year. The charity’s hospices and nurses offer specialist round-the-clock care and emotional support as well as practical information.
