Barking opticians raise for Breast Cancer Care
Specsavers in Barking has raised £92.42 for Breast Cancer Care and the team are renewing their pledge to raise even more.
The store has been selling badges, pins and other goodies to customers in store in order to raise money for the charity.
A continuous effort
Store director Sonia Persand said: ‘We wanted to help raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Care and having hit the £90 mark we’re determined to continue raising more.
‘The staff do a fantastic job encouraging people to donate and we wanted to share our support for Breast Cancer Care with our Barking community.
It’s vital that we continue to raise money to help thousands of people across the UK and we invite all residents to come to the store and support the cause.’
