Banbridge Specsavers is hoping to help raise more than £1 million for Comic Relief. It is the third year that Specsavers has supported the charity by launching funny frames in store and this year’s red glasses jester theme is in keeping with the charity’s comic ethos.
Making a difference
Since 2015 Specsavers has raised £848,000 and has pledged to raise £250,000 this year in its quest to break the £1 million mark.
100% of funds go to Comic Relief
Each pair of Comic Relief frames, available to buy in local Specsavers stores and the Comic Relief website cost just £2 with 100% of the proceeds going to the charity.
Specs will be recycled
Customers can also recycle the glasses after Red Nose Day by returning them to the store and they will be sent onto a specialist recycling company. For more information visit www.specsavers.co.uk or www.comicrelief.com
