Specsavers in Stourport on Severn is holding a bake sale to raise funds for the UK Sepsis Trust, on Saturday (3 May).
The store is holding a spec-tacular fun week (28 April – 3 May) which culminates in a charity cake sale to raise funds for the store’s nominated charity – UK Sepsis Trust.
‘The Sepsis Trust is a charity that is particularly close to our hearts, as one of our staff members lost her mother to the disease a couple of years ago,’ says Tim Reeves, store director.
‘This is a great week for people to pop into store and make the most of the promotions we have on offer, as well as supporting us with our fundraising efforts.  We’re welcoming current and new customers – and are happy to accept prescriptions from other opticians.’
Throughout the week the store is running a £5 sight test offer as well as an additional 10% discount on the renowned 2 for 1 offer, making a deal on two pairs of glasses even more appealing.
UK Sepsis Trust is a non-profit registered charity which aims to help the way our healthcare system deals with Sepsis.
