Hearing tests are free at all Specsavers stores.

Customers at Specsavers are set to keep their sight and hearing at the top of their health agenda, thanks to an extension of the fantastic buy a hearing aid, get a pair of glasses free promotional offer.

The promotion means that customers who purchase a pair of advance range hearing aids for £495 or a pair of high-tech ‘five star’ hearing aids for £1,995, will also be entitled to a pair of glasses worth £69, including single vision or varifocal lenses, free.

The wearing of noise reducing ear plugs at night is very common, with people attempting to block out external sounds in a noisy environment (such as traffic noise) to a loudly snoring partner, the search for a good night's sleep is often a constant one. 

While there is no inherent risk of hearing damage with the long term use of ear plugs, there may well be other possible side effects involving the ear canal.

While many of us are taking the time out to make regular trips to the optician and dentist, we’re not so good when it comes to taking care of our hearing.

The Teignmouth Specsavers hearing centre want to help normalise hearing loss by encouraging local residents to come in for regular hearing checks,  and make it part of their healthcare routine.

From Monday 1st September, the store will be open from:

  • Monday – 8am – 6pm
  • Tuesday – 10am – 6pm
  • Wednesday – 9am – 6pm
  • Thursday – 9am – 6pm
  • Friday – 9am – 6pm
  • Saturday – 9am – 5.30pm
  • Sunday 9.30am – 4.30pm
