Locals can pop into the store to learn more about contact lenses

The Arbroath store is inviting locals in the town to stop by the store to learn more about contact lenses during Love Your Lenses Week (25 and 31 March).

Contact lens queries

Specsavers in Arbroath is encouraging anyone who has any questions about contact lenses, or wants to try them, to pop into the store in the Abbeygate Centre for a chat.

The awareness week was organised by the General Optical Council to help raise awareness of how to look after and enjoy your lenses safely.

Lisa Marshall, ophthalmic director at Specsavers in Arbroath, said: ‘Whether you’re an existing customer or not, anyone is welcome to stop by with contact lens queries. Perhaps you are considering swapping specs for contact lenses but haven’t quite decided.

‘New advances in technology mean many people who could not previously wear lenses can now swap their specs in favour of contacts – and the rising popularity of soft lenses means more people than ever are using them.

‘We have an extensive range of contact lenses to suit everyone, from daily disposable and standard monthly lenses to multifocal and even coloured contact lenses.

‘Our qualified opticians will be able to help choose the best type for you during your assessment. We also recommend regular check-ups to ensure you always get the most out of your contact lenses, as a lens even more suited to your lifestyle may have become available.’

Chance to try a pair for free

Specsavers provides customers with one pair of monthly contact lenses or five pairs of daily disposable contact lenses to try, free of charge after their assessment to make sure they are completely comfortable wearing them.
