Chloe Smith, dispensing consultant at Specsavers in Arbroath has raised a fantastic £184 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) after completing the charity’s H20nly challenge.
The H20nly challenge took place between 2 and 12 June and encouraged participants to only drink water for ten consecutive days.
During the challenge, Chloe raised awareness of the vital work and lives saved by the RNLI and held a fundraising day in store to bolster her fundraising total.
Supported by her colleagues, Chloe organised a bake sale, offering homemade muffins alongside tablet made by dispensing consultant, Fiona Killoh.
Natasha Lamb, also a dispensing consultant at the store also came into the store on her day off to offer face painting.
Chloe, said: ‘The H20nly challenge was a terrific opportunity to help raise awareness and funds for the RNLI. It was an amazing feeling completing the full ten days and having a good amount to hand over to the charity.
I’d like to thank all my colleagues for their tremendous support and our lovely customers for their donations. I raised £60 in store which made a big difference to my overall total.’
