Six members of staff at Specsavers in Arbroath have been recognised for their outstanding long service.

Five or ten years' service
Those presented with long service awards have been at the store for either five or ten years.

The group received commemorative certificates alongside a special pin for their uniforms stating the milestone number of years they have been with Specsavers.

Experienced staff
Jamie Buchan, director of Specsavers in Arbroath, said: ‘The fact that six members of staff have celebrated landmark anniversaries at the store is testament to the fantastic atmosphere and environment we’ve created in store.

I am very proud to have them as part of our team – they are all dedicated to providing excellent customer service with years of experience and training.

After welcoming 13 new staff earlier this year following the store’s expansion, I’m looking forward to celebrating many more long service milestones in the years to come.’

Members of staff celebrating five years’ service included pre-registration dispensing optician Catriona Black who is set to begin an optometry degree at Glasgow Caledonian University next month.

The award was also a fantastic send off for optometrist Clair Donaldson who has just gone on maternity leave. Clair has also been with the store for five years and will return to her post next year.
