The Arbroath store raised £310 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by holding a week of fundraising activities.
Staff at the store held a series of bake sales, prize draws and quizzes to raise money for the charity and also donned the charity’s colour – yellow – to help raise awareness.
The fundraising week was organised by optometrist, Lisa Marshall, whose brother has the condition.
Highlighting the work of a very worthy cause
Lisa said: ‘Our fundraising week was a fantastic success and a great opportunity to highlight the work the charity does.
‘I’d like to thank customers and neighbouring businesses for their support and helping us to raise a great amount.
‘Many of the staff baked delicious treats for our bake sale and a few local cafes also donated some baked goods too.’
Cystic Fibrosis Trust helps to fund cutting-edge research, drive up standards of care and supports those with the condition and their families.
