An eye opening fundraiser in Teignmouth
Specsavers Teignmouth raised vital funds for The Children’s Society following a kids’ fun day in store.
Children's activities in store
Specsavers, located on Bank Street, invited local children to the store to take part in a number of activities including Guess The Number of Sweets in a Jar and a spinning wheel game, all to encourage donations to the charity. Children’s clinics were also held all day, where £2 was donated per eye test by the store to the charity.
Specsavers Teignmouth store director, Michael Todd, says: ‘It was an exciting day for children in Teignmouth to come in and have a bit of fun, helping us raise money for an important charity.
‘We’re very grateful to our community for helping us support The Children’s Society, which does fantastic work to make a difference to disadvantaged children locally and nationally. It’s important that we continue supporting the charity to change young lives and give them new opportunities.’
