The team at Specsavers in Alloa is encouraging locals to take care of their eyes and ensure their health checks are up to date as Autumn begins.

Darker nights are beginning to creep in and Alloa’s eyecare specialists hope that people will take their advice to get their eyes checked and stay safe this season, especially while driving at night.

A word of advice from the store director

Lynne Sangster, retail director at Specsavers in Alloa, said: ‘It’s important to look after your eyes all year round and ahead of the darker nights is the ideal time to check your prescription is up to date.

‘We encourage customers to have their eyes checked at least once every two years, as eye tests can not only detect changes in your vision but also underlying health issues. Keeping up to date with health checks is so important, and eye tests are a vital part of this.’ All
