Specsavers Keighley celebrated Comic Relief in style with a host of in store fundraising activities for customers to get involved with. The team at Specsavers in Keighley raised more than £140 for the charity with fun-filled activities, including a bake sale.

Bake off
Taking inspiration from Gok Wan, who recently won the Comic Relief special episode of the Great British Bake Off, the team at the Specsavers store popped on their pinnies to bake a bundle of tasty treats. Customers indulged in store to help raise money for the worthy cause.

A word from the director
Speaking about the Comic Relief in store fundraising, Nigel Wilson, one of the store directors at Specsavers in Keighley, said: ‘Comic Relief is a really worthy cause and we wanted to do all that we could throughout the day to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

We thoroughly enjoyed making our faces funny for money to support the great work that Comic Relief does. We want to thank all, young and old, who came to join in the fun and buy their Red Nose Day glasses!’
