All change at Crewe as trio pass their exams
A trio of talented team members are currently the focus of attention at the Crewe store after all passing a prestigious industry accreditation with flying colours.
It’s certainly a case of congratulations all round as Gareth Williams, Amy Simms and Michelle Clewlow are celebrating qualifying as dispensing opticians after completing years on study in store and at university.
Amy and Gareth are now Fellows of the British Dispensing Opticians while Michelle is a Fellow of the British Dispensing Opticians Bsc hons. All are now registered with the General Optical Council.
The trio’s success has been hailed by store director Michael Elleray as proof of the business’s commitment to nurturing the very best of South Cheshire’s talent.
He said: ‘On behalf of all the team, I would like to congratulate Gareth, Amy and Michelle on their own personal successes.
‘It is fantastic to have all three qualify at the same time so there’s a great vibe in the store. We have a fantastic team here and they have all worked incredibly hard. Each and every one of the qualifications is certainly very well deserved.’
Class of their own
‘Our amazing and loyal customers are the reason we are able to continue to develop and improve the optical and hearing care we provide to the people of Crewe. It is because of their support that our team continues to grow and succeed.’
Gareth, aged 32, said he’s now planning to focus on the next step of his Specsavers career at the Market Street store.
‘We’re all absolutely thrilled to have passed. The team here are all so incredibly supportive so it’s been a really rewarding experience to work and learn alongside so many hugely experienced people.
‘I’m enjoying every minute and determined to continually improve my own skills here.’
