Aldershot opticians celebrate 21 years young
"Happy Birthday to us!" After many successful years' serving the Aldershot community, we are delighted to celebrate our 21st anniversary and thank all of our customers for their ongoing support.
To mark the occasion, the team held a small party for customers and residents. The first 20 customers who stepped over the threshold on 29th July received a goody bag and a special reward was given to the 21st customer through the door. The winner was Local Mr Nicholls who is a long standing patron of the store. He received a free pair of prescription sunglasses. He said: “Specsavers in Aldershot has always provided me with an excellent service so it isn’t a surprise that they are still performing well on the high street - I would never consider going anywhere else. As their advertisement says, ‘You should’ve gone to Specsavers’ and I always have!”
Local Mayor cuts birthday cake
Mayor of Rushmoor, Councillor Jacqui Vosper officially commenced the event with the cutting of a big slice of celebratory birthday cake. Throughout the day, Specsavers made sure the spotlight was on its customers. A limited £10 eye test promotion was a successful feature and free bottles of water were handed out to help shoppers stay hydrated in the warm weather. A special guest made an appearance too. Kamal Thapa who was recently crowned Aldershot’s Spectacle Wearer of the Year popped by to say a hello and meet the Mayor.
Specsavers Aldershot director Mark Dunn says: ‘We never take our customers’ loyalty for granted and it is their custom and support that has enabled us to celebrate our milestone anniversary. We look forward to many more years to come, offering new eye health and hear care innovations and hope to welcome some new customers too.’
