The team at Accrington Specsavers has announced it will be sponsoring local charity Jason’s Wheels and will be raising funds throughout the year.
Jason’s Wheels was set up by a local family after their son Jason was diagnosed with a Chromosome Translocation which has severely affected his development. Now 13, Jason’s family works to raise funds through the charity to give children with special needs access to specially-adjusted bicycles, to help them to grow physically, mentally and emotionally.
A word from the store director
Jodie Conroy, store director, said: ‘Jason’s Wheels is a fantastic charity which does so much work to help children with special needs in Accrington and beyond. We’re proud to support it and the whole team is looking forward to raising as much money as possible for them.’
