Accrington Specsavers raised hundreds for the Visually Impaired Children’s Support charity VICS

The Accrington team opticians has put fun and games in focus as it raised £316 for the local Visually Impaired Children’s Support charity (VICS). The store welcomed a number of families and children that benefit from VICS invaluable work across the town into the store to host a fun-filled day of arts and crafts, a tombola and a cake sale.

Thanks to all involved
Store director Suzanne George said: ‘A huge thank you to all our fantastic customers who came down and made the events such a fun day for a great cause.

‘The invaluable work of the VICS charity is extremely close to our heart and we were honoured that the families supported the group were able to join us and talk to both staff and our customers about this fantastic charity.’

A fantastic cause
VICS is a support and play group for families with registered blind or partially sighted children across the Hyndburn area, offering a safe environment for their children and organising a packed timetable of activities.
