Booker Park children stand out on the roads with their high-vis vests

The team at Specsavers Cowley have donated high visibility vests to children at the Booker Park School in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Road safety importance

The store made the donation as part of an initiative by Specsavers and road safety charity, Brake, to keep children safe and easily visible when near the roads.

Booker Park is a primary special school which caters for early years children with a range of needs and learning difficulties.

Store director, Jason Komodikis, said: ‘We’re delighted to give these vests to children at the Booker Park School. Road safety is so important and these high-vis vests really make a difference in ensuring that children can be clearly seen when out and about. It’s great to see that the vests are already proving popular.’
