On Friday 26th September, staff at Specsavers in Minehead unleashed their inner Delia Smiths by baking a selection of cakes for customers to buy, with all proceeds going to Macmillan.
People also entered a competition to guess how many hundreds and thousands there were on the cake to be in with a chance of winning half of the sweepstake.
Important day for Macmillan
Store director Philippa Hales said: ‘We invited everyone in Minehead to come and enjoy culinary delights from our team.
‘This day is so important for Macmillan and we encouraged people to come in store to buy our homemade cakes and donate towards such a life-changing cause to help fight cancer.’
