A Wigan resident has won £500 after completing a customer satisfaction survey in her local Specsavers.
Victoria Davies was asked to fill out the survey by staff members after visiting the store for a routine eye test in March.
The Wigan store holds a raffle prize for those who fill out the customer service feedback form each month as a way of thanking them for taking the time to give their feedback.
This month, Victoria’s customer service feedback form was taken forward to a national Specsavers draw, and when hers was chosen she became the winner of the grand prize of £500.
Victoria, who suffers from medical issues which have an effect on her ability to walk, used her winnings to contribute towards a stair lift in her home, and said she was very glad that she filled out the survey.
Sue Gardner, store director in Wigan, said: “We appreciate all feedback from our customers as we’re constantly working to ensure they receive the most professional service and really enjoy their time in store.
“Victoria is a very worthy winner of the prize and we’re delighted to see she used her winnings to buy the stair lift for her home – her feedback was very helpful for us, and it’s good to know her prize has contributed to something helpful for her.”
