Customers in Ellesmere Port have donated thousands of glasses to charity

Generous customers in Ellesmere Port have donated more than 2,000 pairs of glasses which will help people in Africa with vision problems.

The glasses are donated to Vision Aid Overseas (VAO) which recycles the glasses and uses the money this generates to fund its work giving people eye tests and glasses in the developing world.

Sincere thanks to customers

The Ellesmere Port store is thanking customers who helped in this project. In a country where opticians’ services are readily available, such as the UK, it is easy to take vision for granted. In the developing world, the provision of optical services has a real impact on peoples’ lives.
