Will hearing aids help me hear my grandchildren better?

I've had an NHS hearing test which shows normal hearing with a sharp drop off around 4Khz. I find it very difficult to converse with grand children which is distressing. Can you supply a hearing aid with increased treble response?

Answer:

High frequency hearing loss is the most common type we see and the vast majority of hearing aids are designed to help in exactly that area. I would recommend you make an appointment at your local Specsavers Hearing Centre where the audiologist will be able to take you through the options available.
