I get through lots of batteries, how long should they last on average?

Answer:

The life of a hearing aid battery is dependent on its size and how much work it has to do. The most common size of battery is 13 (they have an orange sticker on them). For a person who wears their hearing aids all day every day (approx 14 hours per day) you can expect a battery to last between 10 and 14 days. This will be reduced if you use accessories such as a remote control or TV streamer which require extra power, or if you forget to switch the hearing aids off when you go to bed at night. If your hearing aids use size 312 batteries (brown sticker) you can expect it to last an average of 7 days, again dependent on usage.
