How often should I get my hearing tested?
I have two NHS hearing aids. I was tested for these nearly four years ago. I have requested a review at the hospital but the waiting list seems never ending (been waiting over 3 months now). How often should my hearing be tested?
For those individuals who are existing wearers of hearing aids, the recommendation is to have your hearing tested every three years. You may now have some different options of where it can be tested rather than having to go to the hospital. If you put your postcode into the hearing services finder on our website, it will tell you if NHS services are available in your local Specsavers. If they are, you need to contact your GP and ask for a referral to us.
We recommend you seek professional advice if you are concerned about your hearing
