Do you provide a home visit service?

I have an elderly aunt in a care home in Bedlington, Northumberland. She has a pair of good quality hearing aids (possibly Oticon but I need to check). Unfortunately, infirmity issues mean that she cannot leave the home and she has not had a hearing test for more than two years. I think that her hearing characteristics may have changed in that time and that the aids need 're-tuning' . Do you provide a home visit service where this could be done?

Answer:

Whilst most suppliers of hearing aids do provide a home visit service where required, as your aunt already has hearing aids, you should contact the original company/department as this should be offered as part of their aftercare service (you do not say if the aids were purchased privately or are from the NHS). When purchasing hearing aids from Specsavers, a full and comprehensive aftercare service is provided for the lifetime of the hearing aids, at no extra cost.
