Could I benefit from hearing aids in glasses?

I have some hearing loss and have read about hearing aids in glasses. In your article you mention conductive hearing in relation to them. I do make a lot of wax and have to have them syringed. Could I benefit from them?

Answer:

These types of hearing aids would not normally be considered for people with excessive wax issues. The advice is to manage the wax appropriately rather than treating any hearing loss caused by it. It is usually only individuals with severe middle ear dysfunction that are suitable for 'hearing aid glasses'.
