Bicros hearing system

My wife is totally deaf in one ear and has hearing loss in the other....she needs a bicros system. Currently she is using a wired bicros but finds this cumbersome and frequently the wire gets disconnected. Does the NHS do wireless bicros? Alternatively what is the cost of a private system? Do you have expertise in this field?

Answer:

It is relatively unusual for the NHS to provide wireless Bicros systems although you would need to speak to your local audiology department directly about your wife's circumstances. You can purchase a wireless Bicros system privately and should contact your local Specsavers Hearing Centre for full details and costs (this will depend on your wife's hearing requirements).
