Ask the expert

Are there situations when I shouldn't wear my continuous wear contact lenses?

Answer:

If you experience discomfort or irritation, remove your lenses, rinse them with saline or the solution provided and then reinsert them.

If the problem continues you should visit your optician as soon as possible.

Lenses should be removed if they feel uncomfortable or if you feel unwell, for example if you have a heavy cold or flu.
