WB Power Services offers staff eyecare from Specsavers

The Power of Eyecare

Providing the vision behind the power, WB Power Services Limited has placed a new order this month with Specsavers Corporate Eyecare.

WB Power Services, the specialists in temporary and back-up power supplies, provides Safety Eyewear and Optical Care eVouchers for all staff, through Specsavers Corporate Eyecare. With employee health and safety a key priority for WB Power, the Safety Eyewear eVouchers are an essential provision but the Optical Care eVouchers are being offered as an attractive employee benefit.

Angela Okane, Quality Health Safety and Environment officer at WB Power Services says: ‘We take eyecare very seriously and offer annual eye tests as standard to all employees. This means that we need to be confident in the cost, service and expertise of our eyecare provider. Specsavers Corporate Eyecare’s eVouchers are very easy to use, they offer excellent value for money and a wide variety of frames to choose from. We find the staff very friendly, willing, and helpful, with high standards of care. The service we receive, both in-store and when calling, is fantastic, hence the continuation of our work with them. ’

The very nature of WB Power Services’ business means that its staff travel the country widely and frequently. Philip Mobley, sales and account manager at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, comments: ‘The number of Specsavers stores, located nationwide, is a big advantage for WB Power. It means their employees can always find a convenient time and place for eyecare.’

Prescription safety glasses are available to all relevant engineers at WB Power Services. The optical care vouchers are available to all staff and provide a highly valued employee benefit. While basic eyecare is required for most staff under DSE regulations, WB Power Services goes further to offer employees a higher level of benefits.

An Optical Care voucher from Specsavers Corporate Eyecare costs £35 and provides a full eye examination (including retinal photography, if appropriate) and a complete pair of glasses from the £45 frame range, fitted with standard CR39 single vision lenses, with a scratch-resistant treatment. Or, the voucher can be used as a £45 contribution towards other, higher priced, frame ranges, including designer glasses. If glasses are not required, the voucher is valid for a pair of non-prescription sunglasses. Premium Club is an integral part of every Optical Care eVoucher and offers a further £20 contribution when glasses are selected from the £99 range or above. This gives the employee a combined contribution of £65 towards their new eyewear.
