UK-based insurance giant Admiral has taken on Specsavers Corporate Eyecare as its new provider of workplace eyecare.
Andrew West, corporate account manager for Specsavers Corporate Eyecare said: ‘We are delighted to be able to include Admiral on our client list. It is a very forward-thinking company, well aware of the importance of good eyecare and regular checks with a qualified optician.’
Andrew has already completed a series of wellbeing events with Admiral, where he promoted the new eyecare benefits being offered through Specsavers. The events aimed to educate Admiral’s employees about the company’s eyecare policy and about each individual’s entitlements. Andrew was accompanied by a member of staff from the Specsavers store most locally-based to each Admiral site he visited. This ensured that any technical questions could be answered, while also establishing a local relationship.
Appointments to visit the optician were booked online there and then, and Andrew issued eyecare eVouchers electronically to any employee requiring eyecare. eVouchers have already been issued to more than 200 members of staff at Admiral.
