Eyecare trends enabling employers to offer extra

November 2013

The latest designer collection to be offered to employees by Specsavers Corporate Eyecare is Osiris: a fun, innovative and fashionable range of frames that spans a large variety of colours, shapes and sizes.

Employers offering Specsavers’ voucher schemes are now able to provide their employees with this very latest option in style and flair, turning the obligation of corporate eyecare into a valued and enjoyable benefit. Employees entitled to regulatory VDU eye tests and glasses can use their eyecare vouchers to upgrade to designer glasses, such as Osiris, at significant discounts.

Laura Butler, corporate account manager for Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, says: ‘In tough economic times offering valued employee benefits is harder than ever. A tangible optional extra, like the latest designer glasses at hugely reduced costs, is a privilege that can be enjoyed by many employees, without any additional cost to the employer.’

A VDU eyecare voucher costing the employer just £17 provides the employee with an eyetest and glasses, for VDU use, from the £45 range. Alternatively, the employee may use their voucher as a £45 contribution towards glasses from other ranges. With an additional £20 discount also built into each voucher and Specsavers’ two-for-one offers, exclusive designer ranges like Osiris would cost the employee just £60 for two pairs.
