Red Van Man proves a hit for Specsavers

Postman Pat must be the UK’s favourite van driver; so it is no surprise that Specsavers’ latest advert featuring the famous Red Van Man has been voted the most memorable advert currently on our television screens.
The Postman Pat® advert is the latest comic portrayal of the ‘Should’ve gone to Specsavers’ message and two for one campaign. It was the brainchild of the in-house marketing and creative teams at Specsavers and has been voted the top advert by Marketing Magazine’s Adwatch, which samples the public to ask which advert they find most memorable.
Laura Butler, Corporate Account Manager, at Specsavers Corporate Eyecare says: “We are very proud of our marketing and creative teams. Whilst the advert is great fun, it conveys an important message about ensuring vision is good enough for driving.
