The new Specsavers Corporate Eyecare website has seen up to a 78% increase in hits since its launch in the final quarter of 2009.
Figures released today show that the new corporate website has proved extremely popular as a useful tool for HR Managers interested in the eyecare of their staff.
The Safety Eyewear and VDU Voucher sections are the most frequently visited pages of the website, providing HR Managers with vital information to ensure the safety of their staff’s eyesight. The pages regarding Eyecare Vouchers have seen the biggest leap in the number of hits, with an increase of 78%. The ‘Employers Section’ as a whole has seen a 62% increase in hits.
Laura Butler, Corporate Account Manager for Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, says: ‘We have worked hard to make our website as user-friendly and informative as possible. The new website is very practical and aims to make the purchasing of eyecare quicker and more straightforward than ever for HR Managers.’
The site provides information about the full range of eyecare vouchers available, covering obligatory VDU eyecare, safety glasses, optical care, requirements for drivers and additional employee benefits. The site can be explored by either employers or employees, making it easy to find the right level of information regarding regulations, eyecare policies and general eye health. It is even possible to book an appointment online or ‘try on’ glasses with a virtual ‘dressing room’ experience, which allows users to upload a photograph and acts as a digital mirror.
Butler adds: ‘There is of course no substitute for the human touch and Specsavers Corporate Eyecare works hard to ensure that every one of its clients receives the highest level of care from their corporate account manager.’
