Vision in my left eye has become jagged and fuzzy around the outer edge

Question

The vision in my left eye has become jagged and fuzzy around the outer edge, what could be the cause?

Answer Written answer:

This can be due to a migraine ora but would only last a short time, up to about 30 minutes. If it is present permenantly then there may be a issue within the eye, specificially with the retina, so this should be examined as soon as possible by having an eye test.
