Three year old with swollen eyelids


My three year old daughter has woken up this morning with swollen eyelids, this has happened before and she's had a rash on her body but the last couple of times it's happened its just been her eyelids that have swollen with no rash anywhere, should  I get her eyes checked at the opticians or visit our GP?

I would visit the GP.  It is difficult to know what has caused this without more details. Children tend to be prone to conjunctivitis, which often settles on its own. It could also be due to an allergy.
