Stong pain at back of eye when looking towards nose

For the past week I have been having trouble with my left eye. There is a strong pain at the back of my eye when I look toward my nose or something close. This causes head aches. What could this be and should I visit my opticians again even though I have had a test recently?

Answer Written answer:

I am not sure what this could be. But it does not sound serious. I would give it a few days and if it does not go away you should visit you optometrist again.

We recommend you seek professional advice if you are concerned about your eye health:
