Left contact lenses seem faulty

I've been wearing contact lenses for about eight to nine years and never had any trouble with them at all. However, I got a new prescription three months ago and every left lens in the box has appeared faulty. I don't even know if that's what it is but I need to find out. The left lens has been 'blurry' and I haven't been able to see properly out of any of them for the last three months. Could it be a faulty box?

Answer Written answer:

It is possible, so you should discuss this with your optician. The first thing to try is a new batch of contact lenses, but your eye may need examining to ensure there is no abnormality causing the problem.
