In a laser fun-house and one eye looked white

I was in a laser fun-house recently and a friend with me was very concerned that my right eye was looking white and left eye was normal colour. I had contact lenses in at the time. What could have caused this?

Answer Written answer:

The only thing I can think of is that contact lenses have UV absorption properties by the addition of chemicals during manufacturer. Maybe one lens has a different 'mix' than the other. Where the lenses from different batches or of a different make?
