Flashes, posterior detachment

Question

I was diagnosed with Posterior Viterous Detachment approx 16 months ago, i have floaters that i can see when looking at a computer screen, blue sky, watching tv.

However, is it common symptom to see ' flashers' all the time when looking at the above? Do you suggest i make an appointment for an optometrists to re-examine my pupils?

Optician's Biography

Seamus Breslin BSc (Hons) MCOptom graduated from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in 1986 and qualified as an Optometrist in 1987. He joined Specsavers 21 years ago and is currently the Director of three Specsavers Optical and Hearcare practices.
