I had my eyes tested in April 2011 and it was concluded that I required glasses for reading only. However, since this time I have seen a decline in my sight for watching tv, especially the text and for long distance on roads for signs etc. Is it possible that ones sight can decline in such a short time? Thank you
Qualified optometrist Simon Kay BSc(Hons) MCOptom answers this question.
It is possible, particularly if your in the last 40's to 50's age group. Your eyes can change quite quickly at this age and you can find that you become much more dependent on glasses. So it's back to the opticians to see what they say!
