Eyelid twitching and it feels like there is something in eye


My Left eyelid has been twitching for a few months now and it feels like there is something in my eye, should I book a doctors appointment or an appointment at Specsavers?

At the opticians would be better as they have specific equipment for examining the front of the eye in great detail. Small foreign bodies are very difficult to see with the naked eye, but can cause a great deal of discomfort. You may not have a foreign body but some corneal erosion or other issue. Twitching eyelids are very common and do not normally indicate anything wrong. It should eventually subside.
