I am wondering about contact lenses, (one day) and I don't know what strength my eyes are? Can you help me please?
Qualified optometrist Simon Kay BSc(Hons) MCOptom answers this question.
You need to have an eye test to determine your prescription and from this the contact lens power can be estimated. You need to then have a contact lens fitting and a trial with suitable lenses and a period of successful wear before a contact lens prescription can be issued. This will include the power, the type, material and the parameters of the contact lens. Specsavers do a free contact lens trials but you may have to pay for your eye test.
