I had an eye test done whilst undergoing the routine yearly health exam a few months ago (not at Specsavers), and it turned out that I needed to use specs. I have since misplaced the report and the numbers on it. However, I would like to act on that report now and get myself a couple of pairs of eye-glasses so as to provide my eyes with the best care possible. Anyway, my question is, what could it cost me to get a thorough eye test done at Specsavers? I tried to find it on the website, but I could not.
Qualified optometrist Simon Kay BSc(Hons) MCOptom answers this question.
It varies but excluding special offers, around £20 to £25...but do enquire at your chosen practice.
