Ask the Optician

Can I put my lenses into a different frame?

Just wondering if I can take the lenses out of one pair of glasses and put them in a different frame? Can the lenses be altered to fit another frame?

Answer Written answer:

To fit exactly the frame will have to be the same shape and size, but it is possible the lenses could be cut down into a small frame, but your choice of frames may be quite restricted. The dispensers in the store will help you find one that is suitable.
